Heath Ceramics

Whilst eating at a few resturants, The Slated Door, Chez Panisse and others in San Francisco, we noticed their amazing ceramic plates. All of them were a bit different, but had a wonderful, subtle, understated elegance. We investigated and found that they were made locally by a company called Heath. We headed off on the ferry to Sausalito for the day and went to their factory. It was amazing. The company was founded over fifty-five years ago, but was recently purchased by a husband and wife dynamo who have brought the company into the design market.
