Wall gardens

We saw quite a lot of garden walls on our recent trip. They are a great way to fill a vertical space, when you’re short of garden space.

This photo was taken in San Francisco in the Mission. The garden became a living shop sign.

These ones were in Mexico City and were more a structural feature. Its amazing how the building is so simple, yet the garden has created this huge sense of scale and presense.
