The Time Traveler’s Wife
The Time Traveller’s Wife is a new film based on the book by Audrey Niffenegger. It stars none other than our own Aussie icon, Eric Bana as Henry and Rachel McAdams as Clare. As a hopeless romantic, I loved this book and can’t wait for the film to get to be released over summer in Australian later this year.
The plot is based around the two central characters who are linked together by Henry, who has the ability to time travel. He skips back and forward in time meeting Clare at different moments in her life, all the while trying to build a life together as a couple. I hope the film manages to capture the elements of destiny, time, separation, anxiety and true love that feature in the book.
