Don't judge a book by its cover
A great friend, stylist, PR darling and general food fanatic, Dave Prior, recommended we go along to the most amazing restaurant called Diner, in Williamsburg, NYC. The restaurant was founded a few years back and the diner has been lovingly restored, keeping all its old charm, wonky doorways and floors. All the menus are hand written daily onto the white paper table cloths, the food is locally sourced and the staff are passionate about the food they serve. The menu is based around hearty home cooked flavours with a lasting tasty edge using meat from their very own butcher Marlow and Daughters, which is just up the road.
The talented group behind Diner have just opened another place next door, Marlow and Sons in an old corner store, using the same premise, the store looks as though it functions, but its a food lovers delight!
