Flotsum and Jetsam Coffee Table

This coffee table designed by Melbourne based architect Marcus O'Reilly, won the Craft Victoria Design and Innovation Award in 2009. Constructed from washed up drift wood loveling collected from a team of surfers surrounds beaches in St Kilda. The pieces are timber are trimmed, coated and placed in a simple steel frame. The unique pieces of wood, with different markings, holes and colours create a unique character for each peice.
