Keith Burt's show ' Brisbane Light and Shade' opened at Metro Arts last night, and the show was a sell out! Keith has a background in illustration, animation and moving pictures for kids shows and games. His illustration works can often be seen on the front cover of the Big Issue, which are caricatures of musicians, politicians and other famous faces. His most recent works are lovely oil paintings, that really capture the light quality that is really seen in Brissie. His vivid blues, muted colours and brush work are what makes the compositions so special.

I purchased this fine work, Wooloowin last night.

I also purchased this one, Mt Cootha Road, for Mum for her birthday a few months back.
