Country Chic

Chanel’s latest fashion extravaganza was all about country chic when Karl Largerfield debuted his latest spring summer 2010 ready-to-wear fashion collection in Paris last week. The centerpiece for the show was a huge barn that revealed Lily Allen and her band, hay bails, wooden seating and grass flooring. Fabrics included linen, woven rattan in simple cuts and shapes and were accessorized with clogs and gilded egg baskets handbags. Not quite what you associate with Chanel, but it looked pretty amazing. The star studded event ended with some of the models having a roll/ romp in the hay…. Ye ha!
