Kavellaris Urban Design

This is the best new ‘Aussie-take-the-piss’ house I have seen in a long while. Following along the same visual vein of the Pamela Anderson house in Albert Park, designed by architect Cassandra Fahey for Sam Newman, this Perforated House in Collingwood speaks to themes of urban landscape, australian suburbia and heritage significance all within a contemporary context. The exterior of the house has a silhouette reminiscent of the terrace houses on either side, but the house itself is just a box, its a fake! The backyard has a painted hills hoist, a BBQ and sprinkler, oh the memories!
