The finished chair.... A pretty amazing result for lots of effort and $120!

Inside outside

When the chair was taken to pieces, there were some lovely surprises inside. Lots of textures, fabrics and surfaces.

Chair upholstery.....

With the help of the wonderful Rosemary, Lizzie embarked on reno job. The chair belonged to her grandparents and after years of looking at it in a state of disrepair, it was time to take action. The original quote wasn't quite in the budge after a new car, 6 weeks abroad, plenty of new threads and the rest, so it was going to be be a DIY jobbie.

This is the chair, half way through, the final photos will be posted when its finished, hopefully by Christmas!

Lizzie took these photos on a recent road trip to the Hunter Valley.  Some very fun homemade post boxes feature amongst the mix.

Hermes

The new Hermes store opened in Brissie last week. They had these stunning horse balloons on the roof. The gold stallions looked like they were racing, such a fun concept!

Old inspiration board

Lizzie found this photo on an old CD she was going through on the weekend. A fav image of inspiration in her old art studio.

Graffiti

Photos taken by Lizzie at a pub in Peats Ridge. The tables had so much graffiti, it created the most beautiful handmade type on the tables.
* We don't encourage graffiti, we just liked the outcome!

The London

Lizzie took these photos at The London pub in Paddington Sydney last weekend. The green wall is featured in the upstairs bar and covers the whole of one wall, but leaves the fire place free.

The space is open aired, so it creates a wonderful sense of outside/inside.
